What a summer it has been!

We are over half way through September. That is nuts.

This summer has been one of the craziest and most fun summers I have had to date. It has been filled with lots of different projects ranging from wedding documentaries to family portraits to television productions to film courses to training videos and a whole lot of blogging. In case you did not know, this summer I have been exploring New Brunswick and posting about it here: experiencenb.wordpress.com. It has been so much fun that I am going to keep updating it throughout the fall. If you have any ideas of where I should go next, send me a message. I’d love to hear from you!

I unofficially launched 181 Productions last May 2012 and “officially” launched it in October. While I have “technically” been in operation for over a year, my official 1 year anniversary is coming up on October 2nd. I can’t believe how fast time has flown. When it comes to running a small business, the first 5 years are key to the future of your business. Each year is a milestone but Year 1 is definitely a big one. I have learned a lot and grown a lot over the last year. What the future holds for 181 is yet to be determined but I definitely have some big plans for it. I hope to see it expand and stretch into new grounds and welcome in new people. 181 Productions is currently looking for an awesomely creative and energetic person! Check out the ad and apply if you think you are the right person!Β

I really do love what I do. I want to get more involved in creating films again and I have some ideas on how to do that but until then, there are lots of weddings to document and people to film.

As we move forward into the fall, I am excited for beautiful fall colours to emerge and for new creative ideas to take their shape and be taken to the next degree.
