Two months ago, we drove five thousand kilometres to Edmonton, Alberta.
Since then, we have been settling into, and doing our best to familiarize ourselves with, the new city. I am by no means a “city person”. I am much more comfortable outside, surrounded by fresh air, trees and water … and some birds and squirrels … and the occasional deer. That being said, first impressions are good and I am enjoying Edmonton. We moved as close to the ravine as we could so we have easy access to the fantastic River Valley trails! I am proud to say I have yet to run into a coyote or bear, nor have I seen any. Apparently they are everywhere but I am oblivious.
As far as 181º is concerned, it has been driving over some speed bumps.
A [new] full time job + city traffic + moving + [attempting to] be healthy + [attempting to] have a life = The disappearance of time.
In other words, I am now doing what everyone else has been doing. It’s just taking me a bit to catch up with the rest of these city people.
Thank you so much to my final two couples of 2014 for their incredible patience!
Moving forward, I predict a higher productivity level as I get into the swing of things.
Is 181º still available for hire? Of course! My availability may be limited but I don’t want to shut things down completely. Message me if you want photos, film, etc, in Edmonton [and surrounding areas]. Oh, and, I am always looking for an excuse to visit NB. 😉
2014 was incredible. It was full of adventure, awesome people, small moments and a big move.
Thank you to all of my clients. You helped make 2014 one of the best years yet!
I welcome 2015 with open arms and an open mind! Happy New Year 🙂
