Featuring photo and video work by Kirsten Stanley for the adventurous and fun-loving

2016: Let's Adventure.

As we move into the final weeks of 2015, we begin reflecting on the past year and planning for the new one. 2015, for me, was a journey in every sense of the word. It brought new experiences,  friends and accomplishments. As well as, new challenges and a refreshed perspective.

2016 will be filled with adventure, laughter, new things to learn and positive changes. At least, one can hope! It's been many years since I've had much of a New Year's resolution so I decided to make an effort this year. I sat down and wrote out my resolutions. By doing this, I hope next year will live up to the expectations [realistically] that a new year always brings.

181º is also evolving in 2016. Here are a few updates in progress.

• The website has an updated look! Go check it out.

Wedding photography is now being offered, in addition to the existing services that have been offered since 181 opened.

• I (Kirsten) am moving into the world of YouTube (currently under development) to share my outdoor adventures and fitness.

These 3 things are seemingly small, but in reality, they are broad leaps forward.

Additionally, my travel blog, which was originally intended to highlight NB specifically, is going to feature adventures without border limits. It will be directly related to the YouTube channel (currently under development).

It's time to turn things up an extra degree.

How will you adventure in the new year? Will you make that big career move you've been dwelling? Will you check another thing off your bucket list? No matter what it is: embrace it and commit to it. And remember to have fun while doing it!

2016: Let's Adventure.

181 is moving!

In November of this year, we are driving west and settling in Edmonton. 181º will continue to be in operation, just in a different part of the country for awhile.

Here are some questions you might have. If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me!

What does this mean for 2015 couples in Saint John/NB? Contact me for a referral to other awesome wedding videographers in the area! (If possible, I would to love to travel home throughout the year... *wink*wink*)

BUT if you are getting married (or looking for photos, other video work, etc.) in Edmonton or a surrounding area in 2015, send me a line!

Can I hire you for photos, video work, etc, before you move? You bet your bottom dollar you can! I'll be working until the end of October in Rothesay and would love to work with you before I move. But since, I will be busy- the earlier you contact me, the better!

Will you still be available to provide other services after you have moved? Abso-freaking-lutely! A lot of graphic design, video editing, animation, etc, can be done strictly via the web. I would love to continue to offer services to you, no matter where you reside in Canada.

I look forward to this next chapter so I can continue to experience, grow and learn, both professionally and personally.

This is a decision I thought long and hard about. It scares me and excites me, therefore, I know it must be the right thing to do now. And let's face it, I'm a very proud maritimer [New Brunswicker] so I'll be back!
